Power Break™ coaching questions
Use these questions to get clear before you work through the exercises. Come back to them whenever your tray feels heavy.
Investigative — What is actually happening? What fruit is heaviest right now?
Speculative — What could happen if I shifted my focus here? What might open up if I let something go?
Productive — What is the most useful thing I can do today? What one step would create momentum?
Interpretive — Do I need to heal, grow, act, or let it go?
Subjective — What matters to me today? What do I need more of in this season?
Work through the prompts
1
The Balance Reset starts here.
See your tray clearly before you reset anything
Your life is one whole system. Before you can reset anything, you need to see it clearly.
Exercise
Complete this sentence honestly — not how you think it should be, but how it actually is right now.
My tray is
because
e.g. overloaded because I’m carrying everyone’s needs.
2
Stop Carrying Fruit
Name the responsibility you never agreed to hold
Some of what you’re holding was never yours to carry. Naming it is the first step to putting it down.
Exercise
Think of one responsibility you never agreed to but are carrying anyway. Identify what it is, how heavy it feels, and what you actually need.
The fruit
Its weight
What I need
e.g. bedtime / heavy / help
3
Feelings Are Data
Read the signal your emotions are sending
Your emotions aren’t extra. They’re signals telling you something about your life. Don’t ignore them — read them.
Exercise
Pick one area of your life that’s producing a strong feeling right now. Work through each field — don’t rush past the “need” column.
The feeling
The fruit it’s attached to
Because
What I need
e.g. resentful / work / late texts / boundary

Bowls First
Choose where your best energy belongs this season
You can’t give your best to everything. Choose where your best energy belongs in this season — then arrange everything else around that.
Exercise
Name the one area of your life that deserves your best energy right now. Then identify one thing you need to reduce to protect that priority.
My bowl (top priority)
What I need to reduce
e.g. family / reduce overcommitting
Go deeper
Use this when life feels heavy, scattered, overloaded, or out of order.
